Comrade Sayed Abu Zafar Ahmed, former General Secretary of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has died on May 29 at 12.30 a.m at United Hospital. He was suffering from Pneumonia,Diabetes, Kidney complications and Heart Disease. Lastly He was attacked with Steven-Johnson Syndrome. He was 65 years old. He left his wife, two daughters and one son. President of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Comrade Mujahidul Islam Selim and General Secretary Comrade Shah Alam expressed deep grief due to the death of Zafar Ahmed. On May 29 at 10 am his body was brought to CPB’s Central Office Muktibhaban to pay tribute.
